The double-sided design separates the deposit side (kitchen/staff area) from the pickup side (customer area). Couriers or kitchen staff load food from the back while customers collect from the front, enabling true contactless handoff without shared space.
It's installed in walls or partitions between service areas and customer areas — restaurant kitchen walls, hospital cafeteria pass-throughs, office building lobbies, and university dining hall exits. The locker acts as a secure pass-through window.
Yes. Each side has its own touchscreen and access control. The kitchen side uses staff credentials (RFID card or PIN) to load food, while the customer side uses pickup codes or QR scans. The two sides never open the same compartment simultaneously.
The locker requires a wall opening matching the unit dimensions (typically 120cm × 60cm × 65cm depth). We provide detailed installation drawings and mounting brackets. The wall must support at least 200kg. Both sides need a power outlet and network connection.
After a configurable timeout (default 4 hours), the system sends escalation notifications. If still uncollected after 8 hours, it alerts the operator to clear the compartment. All timeout settings and notification rules are configurable per deployment.
Yes. Heated compartments maintaining 40-65°C are available. Since food travels through the locker from kitchen to customer side, the heating ensures meals stay warm during the waiting period — typically 15-60 minutes in most restaurant deployments.
